30 Days of Thanks Days 12, 13 &14

Day 12: I am thankful for playdates

Day 13: I am thankful for the time my husband spends with the kids, though to be honest I wish he would have chosen a calmer activity like Candyland but to each his own

Day 14: I am thankful for Hallmark channel during November and December. I love love love me some cheesy christmas movies.

Three Things Thursday

1. 30 Days of Thanks Day 11:Three things I am thankful for today my Nalgene waterbottle, RW magazine, and the elliptical machine at the gym.

2. Since we are trying to get a smaller bunk beds for two of my daughters I asked my oldest to clean out under their bed and closet so we could get their room organized little did I know when I walked into their room that they were well on their way to earning a spot on a future episode of Hoarders so would anyone like to guess what's on the plan for today??

3. How connected are your kids?? My 12yr. old daughter has on separate occasions has asked for a twitter and facebook to both my husband and I told her no, which I assume translates in preteen to my parents suck which in all honesty is okay with me. It's just I couldn't think of a negative in her not having a fb or twitter but I could think of a few downsides to her having one, if that makes sense. so I am just wondering when do you think it is an appropriate age for a young adult to be on fb or twitter?

Almost Wordless Wednesday & 30 DOT Days 9 &10

Yesterday I was thankful for nightly reading time with my daughters.

Today it was for clean bathrooms... ( I hate cleaning the bathroom but love it when there clean so in order to love my bathrooms again I did a full cleaning cleared cabinets, wiped down door, walls and baseboards the whole shabang.

and for a stir fry being a quick and easy meal that I can throw together on days like today where I realize I haven't pulled out or planned anything for dinner at 3 pm.

I am thankful for daylight savings this morning since the sun was up at 6:30 it was very little hassle to get all the girls up and moving

30 Days of thanks - Day 7

I am thankful for Sundays because it is the one day of the week were getting dressed is optional pj's all day is perfect fine with me. It's just time spent at home without schedules or anywhere to be .

Thankful 30- Day 6

Today I am thankful for two things first I am thankful for child sized sinks, it can be a pain having to hold my younger children on at a time up to the sink, while helping them get hand soap and holding/pressing or swiping to make the water come on (depending on the sink), so sadly seeing this kid friendly sink made me way more happy than it probably should have. :)

and second I am thankful for Pumpkin Spice Creamer it's my favorite of the holiday flavors and I have been on the lookout for it since it was released beginning of Oct. and today finally got my hands on some.

30 Days of Thanks- Day 5

A little late but but yesterday I was thankful for slumber parties...

Maybe it's just my girls but fighting amongst one another seems to be their favorite hobby so when they decided to have a slumber...all of them, together in one room and actually agreed on the movie and stayed the whole night without disagreeing, arguing or yelling it's moments like those that make me happy... and gives me hope that there may be a day when they will be each other's biggest supporters and best friends is that to much to hope for??

Day 4

Today I am thankful for morning walks/runs with Kayla

After dropping 3 of my girls off at school for approx. 4 hrs each morning it is just me and Kay. She is my morning running partner, today my run turned out to be a walk cause Ms. Kay felt like getting out of her stroller and stretching her legs a little bit

Almost Wordless Wednesday & A Thankful Day 3

Today I am thankful for pizza night, having a family of six on one income we don't eat out very often and I honestly don't mind and majority of the time like making dinner but when we do eat out I greatly appreciate the break from cooking and cleanup. :)

So like a ton of other people I am taking part in posting 30 Days of Thanks, thanks to Krista at Always a Reason to Run and for that I will make her my...

Day 1

From the Always a Reason to Run blog:

Everyday during November, I am going to post about one thing I am thankful for: it can be serious, silly or simple. I have so many reasons to be grateful; I want to share the gratitude. All to often I get caught up in life and sometimes to busy to notice the little or even big things that are worth stopping, appreciating and being grateful for and I am Thankful that Krista has put together a way that if even for a short period time, everyday I will take a minute and reflect on how blessed I am.

Day 2

My day two will be no lines at the post office, it seems like everytime I mean everytime no matter what time I go to the post office there is a line and rarely is it a short line but today I was in and out of the post office packages mailed, book or stamps in hand in under 5 mins.

Pics of the Week: The Good and the not so good. The Good, I got my new Nalgene Multisport water bottles and me likey :). The Not So Good, a stalk of my pepper plant broke off because of the weight of the peppers it was holding so I have about 8 peppers that are not ripe enough to eat ( i know this cause I tasted one, umm not so good) so I think i will save the seeds and take away from it the lesson that with peppers I need to either stake them up or use some sort of tomato cage for support. :(

This weeks workouts consisted or 1 step class, 4 miles on the treadmill & 6 miles on the elliptical.
